The traverse is coming to an end; the convoy has left Concordia and is heading for Cape Prud'homme.

The scientific mission is accomplished: installation of weather stations, seismology, drilling; but also routine measurements: radar measurements, aerosol collection, measurement of particles and water isotopy, surface snow sampling, measurement of spectral albedo, grain size, surface roughness.  Now it's a matter of maintaining the cold chain to the labs to preserve the samples, and there's a long way to go!
